Documents & Forms

Documents from Home

Students planning to work at Notre Dame should be prepared to present the required original, signed, and unexpired documents (e.g., valid passport OR driver’s license AND social security card) to the Office of Human Resources to complete the Form I-9 within three business days of completing step one of the verification process.

Please note that photocopies and/or facsimiles are not acceptable.

New Student Employee Guide

After confirmation of employment, first-time student employees are encouraged to review the New Student Employee Guide to assist with completing Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9), federal and state tax withholding elections, and establishing direct deposit.

Direct Deposit is the method of payment for all University employees, including students. As an hourly employee, you will be paid bi-weekly via direct deposit to your personal bank account.

NOTE: The direct deposit you may have set up within IRISHPAY is separate from the direct deposit that you set up with the Payroll Office to receive student employment payments.
