Volunteer Coordinator
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position allows students the opportunity to work with the Community Based-Learning Coordinator in all aspects of volunteer program management, including recruitment, training, database management, evaluation tools, research of volunteer trends and new directions in volunteer engagement.
Qualifications
General Qualifications for the Position:
• Professional attitude and appearance; Self-starter, energetic, assertive
• Previous volunteer experience preferable
• Detail-oriented and well organized; able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and or groups of people/volunteers effectively
• Excellent communication and personal engagement skills
• Able to successfully work in a collaborative, team-oriented organization
• Proficient in basic computer-based programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable in learning new data tracking/management software
Student in nonprofit management, communications, social sciences, or similar majors preferred.
